The Weatherford Method
Most technology purchases fail in one of two places: before the signature, when a sales pitch replaces real diligence, or after it, when the vendor moves on and no one is accountable. The Method covers both.

Before the signature
- Discovery
We start with your business, not a product catalog. What is working? What is failing? What does growth look like, and what constraints does your team actually operate under? Every recommendation downstream is anchored to what we learn here, because no other company is exactly like yours.
- Vendor search and filtering
Special agreements with 500+ vetted suppliers give us the full field of realistic options. Then the real work begins: filtering. We evaluate candidates on solution design, financial stability, service levels, and track record. We run vendor meetings on equal footing so every provider answers the same hard questions. You see a short list worth your time instead of a parade of pitches.
- Contract review
We read the fine print so you are never surprised by it. Auto renewal traps, weak SLAs, termination penalties, and hidden charges get flagged and negotiated before you sign. Where a vendor's promises outrun their proof, we push for protections like trial periods and performance clauses that give you a real way out.

After the signature
- Deployment oversight
A signed contract is a plan, not a result. We project manage the implementation, coordinate the vendor's teams with yours, and hold everyone to the milestones we negotiated. This is where an engineering background pays off. We have designed and deployed production systems ourselves, and we know where implementations go sideways.
- Ongoing escalation support
Day to day support still comes from your vendor. Our role begins when that support stalls: a serious ticket going nowhere, an outage without answers, a promise that keeps slipping. We escalate directly with vendor management, and vendors take that call seriously because we represent many of their clients rather than one. We also document your circuits, licenses, and hardware, and we track every contract end date so renewal decisions get made on your schedule instead of the vendor's.
A team that scales to fit the project
A single location gets a focused advisor without big firm overhead. A national rollout gets a project team built for its size. On one national engagement we stood up a dedicated team of auditors to disconnect and migrate legacy phone lines across hundreds of sites. Either way, the same engineer stays accountable for the outcome from the first conversation to the last escalation. That is the point of the model. You get the resources of a large firm when you need them and the accountability of a single trusted advisor always.
